    Answer:- 

            Mrs pumphery was worried and distraught because tricki would not eat anything . Refused even his favourite dishes; and besides , he had bouts of vomiting . He spent all his time lying on a rug, Panting. He didn't want to go for walk , and didn't want to do anything. 

2. What does she do to help him? Is she wise in this?

    Answer:- 

            She  called doctor to help Tricki . Yes she was wise . The doctor suggested that Tricki should hospitalised. She swooned and wailed but let the dog go with the doctor .Ultimately the doctor was successful in curing Tricki.

    Answer:- In this story 'I' refer to Mr Herriot.

Answer:- No narrator is not rich as tricky mistress. 

2. How does he treat the dog?

    Answer:- 

        The doctor did not gave him food but plenty of water. At the second day he started to show some interest in his surroundings and began to whimper when he heard the dogs in the yard. On the third day he saw tricki took a walk round the shining bowls, licking it . Next day , an extra bowl was put out for him and doctor was was pleased to see him jostling his way towards it. His progress was rapid . He had no medicinal treatment of any kind but all day he ran about with the dog , joining in their friendly scrimmages.and he recovered vary well in end .

3. Why is he tempted to keep tricky on as a permanent guest?

Answer:-

         Mrs pumphery started to bring round fresh eggs, two dozen at a time , to build up Tricki's strength. And soon bottles of wine began to arrive. They could hardly believe it when the brandy come to arrive. Doctor and his partner had day of deep content, starting well with the extra egg in the morning , improved and sustained by midday wine and finishing luxuriously roud the fire with the brandy. This was the reason to keep Tricki on as permanent guest. 

4. Why does Mrs pumphery think the dogs recovery is "a triumph of surgery"?

    Answer:- 

        Mrs pumphrey think the dog recovery is " a triumph of surgery" because in two weeks, tricky had recovered completely and had been transformed in to hard muscled animal . When tricky saw her, it leaped into her lap and licked her face. She was so excited that tears start rolling out of her eyes. She declared tricky recovery as triumph of surgery express her happiness and gratitude towards doctor .

1. What kind of person do you think the narrator, a veterinary surgeon, is ? Would you say he is tactful as well as full of common sense?

   Answer:-  

        I think the narrator ; a veterinary surgeon is very tactful person. He knows how to deal with people. He Adjust himself well to the circumstances . He immediately understand tricky problem. Tricky doesn't suffer from any sort of illness. The main cause of his illness is overfeeding . He take dog to his surgery . Their he keeps it in natural environment. The dog get well under his supervision and environment of surger.
2. Do you think tricky was happy to go home? What do you think will happen now?

    Answer:- 

    Yes, Tricki was very happy to go home. He was also happy with surgery house . When he was bought their he was ill, but in spite of it's dog got cured in two days and regular exercise helped a lot in it's speedy recovery. The dog regained its best health and was no longer listless. Now I think same pampring will start again  Mrs. Pumphery will take exercise care of the dog.   There is no doubt , it was her loNe but excess of anything is harmful.

3. Do you think this is a real life episode, aur mere fiction? or is it a mixture of both?

    Answer:-

         This could be mixture of both real- life episode, or mere fiction. Mrs pumphery is rich lady and had a pet dog it is because of her pampering that she overfeeds her dog which results in his illness. Although she has good intention in her mind but excess of everything is bad . This episode can be treated  fiction  who do not take it seriously . It can be real life for those parents who take excessive care of their child.

1. This episode describe the silly behaviour of rich women who is foolishly indulgent, perhaps because she is lonely. Do you think such a people are merely silly, or can their action cause harm to others

    Answer:-

         Episode describe the silly behaviour of rich women who is foolishly . This may be cause of loneliness they are ignorant about result of their action. They show their excessive lone and affection of someone without knowing the consequence . There is no doubt that their intentions are good and don't have any sort of ill. But they are not aware action can cause harm other. 

2. Do you think there are also parents like Mrs pumphery?

    Answer:-

          Yes , their is parents like Mrs pumphery who are over possessive about their child. The scene of overindugence can go either way. There are example of parents who spoiling their own children future by giving everything by their demand. There are also strict parents who put unnecessary pressure on their child for study and particular behaviour pattern. 

3. What would you have done if you wear (i) a member of staff in Mrs pumphery household, (ii) a neighbour? What would your life have been like, in general?
